  • Celebrating our Year 13 students before study leave

    Published 09/05/24

Our year 13 students celebrated their last formal day here at North Leamington School Sixth Form as they start their study leave.

With a fancy dress theme of Past and Future, we celebrated all the things our students have achieved during their time with us and all the many wonderful plans they have going forward.

A mid morning "soiree" in the Common Room was followed by an extended assembly celebrating achievements 'past and present' through a selection of photos, messages and student and teacher awards.

We finished our day with ice creams and more photos at the front of school with the bonus of the sun shining for us.

We wish all Year 13 students the very best for their exams and their future destinations – we are very proud of them all.

Students in the Sixth Form also joined in with the main school in the Christmas Hamper initiative: the aim being to identify a valuable cause and to fill a hamper to support throughout the Christmas period. Supporting local foodbanks and charities such as the LWS Night Shelter, it’s been great to see such a community-spirited approach from all.

  • Culture Day

    Published 06/12/23

Our Student Leaders for Diversity & Equality recently delivered their inaugural Culture Day: an opportunity to celebrate culture in general but also the specific cultural heritages of the students in our terrific Sixth Form. A key highlight was the representative dress on show and the sharing of foods from various cultural backgrounds.

We are delighted to say that through the selling of food created by the students and from various heritages a tremendous £162.20 was raised for the BLAM UK charity – BLAM UK being an organisation supporting achievement and mental health and which was identified by the student body.

    Well done all!
