History Update- Summer 2

Year 7 have been learning about the rules of heraldry and have enjoyed making shields to represent their own qualities and experiences.

Well done to Year 8 who have been finding out about the Transatlantic slave trade. They have produced some outstanding essays analysing the main causes of The Abolition Act, 1833.

We had a fantastic day with Frontline Living History as the Year 9 students took part in the WWI Battlefields Medicine workshop. They were able to try on the uniform, see the Thomas Splint in action and handle artefacts from the trenches.

Year 10 had had a busy half-term, preparing for their mock exams and will be ready to start their final topic, Weimar and Nazi Germany in September. Well done for all of your hard work.
