NLS achieves the FairActive Award
We are thrilled to announce that we have achieved the next level of the Fair Trade school accreditation. We are now a FairActive school, which demonstrates our commitment to raising awareness among our students about Fair Trade.
Students have had to deliver assemblies about Fair Trade, set up a Fair Trade group, run a bake sale and all of Year 8 took part in a workshop where they learnt about sustainable consumption and Fair Trade. Achieving this award demonstrates our ongoing commitment to our students leaving NLS as truly global citizens.
