Summer Music Concert

Our Summer Music Concert on Tuesday 7 July was another wonderful success, showcasing the incredible talent of more than 50 outstanding performers.   The evening featured a diverse programme, from impressive solo performances to our larger extra-curricular ensembles, including Pop Choir, Orchestra and Steel Pan Group. Together with our music teachers, they provided some memorable performances and inclusive group music-making experiences. Pieces performed included 'Colours Of The Wind' from Disney's Pochahontas and the classic 80's pop hit 'Africa' by Toto. It was fantastic to see every year group represented throughout the concert, including our Year 11 and Year 13 students, who returned after completing their examinations to perform creating a sense of unity and celebration of our students' hard work and dedication to music.

It was a truly enjoyable evening, and especially well done with the  current hot temperatures. We are incredibly proud of all our talented young musicians who take part in the extra-curricular music opportunities at NLS.

Thank you to all the parents and carers who attended and supported the event. Your encouragement and enthusiasm are greatly appreciated and help make occasions like this so special.
