I continue to be extremely proud of the positive start Year 7 students have made this year and the way they are embracing the many opportunities available to them. Although this has been a relatively short half term, it has certainly been a busy and productive one.

Students would have recently completed assessments within different subjects, which will support teachers in identifying both areas of strength and areas for further development. This information is reflected in Data 2, which is now available on Go4Schools. Next half-term, students will be given time to reflect on their progress, analyse their results, and set clear targets as they move into the final term of the academic year.

The 30 Year 7 students with the highest number of reward points this spring term celebrated their fantastic achievements at the termly rewards event, enjoying freshly baked cupcakes—huge congratulations to them all!

It has also been fantastic to see so many students getting involved in extracurricular activities and performances. In particular, their enthusiasm and commitment within Dance, PE, Drama, and Music has been wonderful to see, and they should be very proud of their contributions.

Alongside their usual studies, students have been taking part in the options process, and considering the subjects they would like to study at Key Stage 4, as well as beginning their journey of preparation for the upcoming RE mock exam.

We continue to be incredibly proud of the way Year 9 conduct themselves. Their smart uniform, positive interactions with each other and staff, and commitment to the World Class Basics are a testament to their growing maturity.

As we reach the end of the Spring Term, I want to take a moment to express how incredibly proud I am of Year 10. This half term has been eventful, demanding, and filled with successes. From mock exams to our crucial Parents' Evening, our students have continued to demonstrate our school's CORE values in every aspect of school life. Their resilience, commitment, and positive attitude have been a real highlight of this term.

This term has been full of memorable whole-school events. We celebrated Red Nose Day with a bake sale, raising funds for vital charities – so many wonderful cakes were made and shared; well done to all!

We also held a highly engaging ‘Chat and Learn’ session on World Epilepsy Day on 26 March, which was very well attended. Additionally, from 16 to 27 March, we celebrated Autism Awareness, exploring the importance of neurodiversity and understanding that everyone’s brain works differently. These events have not only educated our students but have also helped foster a caring and inclusive school community.

Our Celebration for World Book Day was a huge success, with staff going all out to bring stories to life—especially favourites like Treasure Island and The Hunger Games—creating a truly exciting and memorable experience for our students!

The release of Data 2 has provided us with an insightful overview of our students' progress, and I am delighted to report that a significant number of Year 10 students are exceeding their target grades. This is a testament to their work ethic, maturity, and commitment to their subjects. Year 10 continues to be a year group with high aspirations, determined to reach their future destinations. Their dedication to academic success is truly commendable, and I encourage all students to maintain this momentum as we move forward.

We celebrated with the 30 students in Year 10 with the most reward point at our Reward Event on Monday when we marked their amazing achievements with freshly baked cupcakes—huge congratulations to each of them!

As we approach the end of another busy and productive term, it is an ideal time to recognise the hard work and commitment shown by our Year 11 students. They have approached this crucial stage of their education with focus and determination, preparing thoroughly for their final GCSE examinations.

Throughout the term, students have demonstrated excellent engagement in lessons and have made the most of additional revision opportunities after school. Their positive attitude, resilience, and growing maturity have been particularly evident during this demanding period.

Now that mock examinations have concluded and the recent Subject Evening has taken place, students have a clearer picture of their progress so far, as well as the areas they need to prioritise moving forward.

It was a pleasure to welcome so many parents and carers to the Subject Evening on Monday . We hope the discussions were helpful in supporting your child’s preparation and next steps.

I hope you are well and are looking forward to this Easter break and the promise of some Spring weather! This term was especially short but there has been much to celebrate none-the-less…

Tier 1-3– Year 12 Students

We were really proud of how students in Year 12 responded to the support in place as we introduced them to our Tier 1-3 support system last term. We also appreciated the parental support and recognition that this is about help rather than hindrance and wanting the best for your children. With the emphasis very much on support (the academic and pastoral as well as the subject-specific and the more holistic), it’s been heartening to see students recognising this and being so actively involved in taking a lead on their learning and future successes. With Data 2 and Mock Results in, whether students are supported as a Tier 1, 2 or 3 student has been reviewed and suitable communications with students and parents had. Please recall the below…

The majority of students are working terrifically well – as individuals and collaboratively. Our aim is to ensure that every student experiences success and have as many choices as possible in the future.

<img alt="Photograph of four students sitting around a round table engaged in group study, with open notebooks, textbooks, and a laptop visible.
Charity and Community

We were really pleased to receive recognition from the Salvation Army for our recent fundraising efforts – see below. We dovetail with the main school on charity and community events but complement this with some Sixth Form-specific initiatives.

This fundraising was a direct result of excellent student leadership initiative and the quiz and sports-event (based on College lines) which was so well-organised and so-well received by Year 12 and Year 13 alike.

March 16 saw our Culture Day and this proved to be another community success – with students representing a range of the different heritages which help make our Sixth Form a diverse and vibrant place. In particular, students shared their culinary heritage with others and raised nearly £100 in to the bargain - with UNICEF the beneficiaries of Student Leadership efforts.

We are also so pleased with the number of students who are involved in the Gold DoE programme. As you know from previous, this involves all sorts of developmental opportunities and some 40 Year 12 have this week headed off on their Gold Training Expedition. We will update with pictures and a write-up on their return.

Finally, we were pleased to be a part of the school’s commitment to charity in the recent Red Nose Day events. It was lovely to see so many so actively involved in what has become over the years a huge national dedication to helping some of the most needful.

Tier 1-3 Launch – Year 12

As we move through the penultimate term and into the final stages of the academic year, I would like to take this opportunity to reflect on the excellent progress our Year 11 students have made during the first half of the spring term.

It has been a demanding half term, particularly with the completion of the most recent round of mock examinations during the final two weeks. I am extremely proud of the maturity, resilience and determination students demonstrated throughout this period. The results from the December mocks have provided valuable insight into students’ strengths and highlighted areas where further focus is needed as we move closer to the GCSE examinations this summer. Importantly, these results have enabled staff and students to work collaboratively to refine revision strategies and set clear, achievable targets for improvement.

To further support students’ preparation, we held a Mock Results Day designed to mirror the experience of GCSE results day in August. This was an invaluable opportunity for students to experience the emotions that accompany results day and to practise responding positively and proactively. Students approached this event with impressive maturity, engaging thoughtfully with feedback and next steps, which will undoubtedly support them as they continue their exam preparation.

It was fantastic to see so very many of you at our Year 8 Subject Evening in January, both those parents and carers that I had appointments with and those who I was able to see informally. Subject evening is a key date in the Year 8 calendar, as a vital opportunity for parents and carers, and the students themselves, to get feedback on exactly what steps need to be taken to make even more progress. I was really proud of the maturity displayed by those students present, and I want to thank all parents and carers for your continued, unerring support of your children.

Uniform standards remain exemplary, attitudes and behaviour for learning are excellent, and their commitment to attending and engaging in extra-curricular opportunities has been particularly impressive. During the course of this half term, Year 7 students have also had their target grades set on Go4Schools; if you may have missed this information, please do refer back to my previous letter dated 09.01.2026, which outlines the target-setting process in more detail.

As we reach the end of another busy and productive half-term, it is an ideal opportunity to reflect upon and celebrate the progress our Year 11 students are making. With two full sets of mock exams completed, alongside Year 11 Subject Evening and the release of Data 1, students now have a clear understanding of how they are performing and where they can continue to improve in the lead-up to their final exams.

Before anything else, I want to express just how incredibly proud we are of our Year 11 cohort. Their resilience, determination and maturity throughout an intense mock exam process has been outstanding. They have demonstrated focus, perseverance and a real willingness to push themselves, and this attitude will serve them exceptionally well as we move into the most important phase of the year.

It has also been wonderful to see so many students engaging positively with all aspects of school life. This term, students have contributed to the Winter Music Concert, played key roles in our Remembrance Service, taken part in extra-curricular clubs, and supported charity events including World Mental Health Day and Christmas Jumper Day. Their enthusiasm and community spirit have been clear to see.

We have been incredibly impressed with how positively Year 10 have begun their GCSE years. Students have continued this term with maturity, ambition, and a clear determination to succeed. Their focus in lessons, willingness to participate, and commitment to their studies have set a very strong foundation for the year ahead. We are exceptionally proud of the positive attitude they continue to show each day.

A particular highlight this term has been the successful completion of their first subject assessments. Students approached these with real dedication—attending after-school support sessions, producing detailed revision materials, and seeking timely feedback from their teachers. Their hard work is already paying off, and we are excited to see this momentum continue. You’ll have seen the data sheets available on Go4Schools.

Across the term, Year 10 continued to demonstrate our CORE values—Commitment, Opportunity, Respect, and Excellence—through their attitude to learning, behaviour around school, and the example they set for younger students. It is a privilege to work with such a motivated and supportive year group.

Students have embraced the challenges of moving towards GCSE style grading in the CORE subjects and RE, and are beginning to think about the choices they will be making about their future in the coming term.

We continue to be incredibly proud of the way that Year 9 conduct themselves.

Though I feel I always start these bulletins the same way, it is still true that it has been an incredibly busy half term for Year 8 at North Leamington School. The build up to Christmas is always a special time of year and it has been a real pleasure to see Year 8 throw themselves into all of the Charity and Community projects that we value so highly.

Remembrance

Each year we gather as a school community to mark the extraordinary sacrifice shown down the years by members of the country and members of this very school. It is always a solemn and moving event and Year 8 were exemplary for the course of this occasion.

Odd Socks - Supporting Anti-Bullying Week

As part of Anti-Bullying Week, Year 8 embraced Odd-Socks Day in November. It was brilliant to see how many Year 8s took part in this really important event which followed tutor time sessions during the week when students discussed this year's theme Power for Good and were reminded who they can speak to at school if they have any concerns.

Music Concert

Well done to all those who took part in our The Winter Music Concert on Wednesday 3 December. It was lovely to see Year 8 students taking part and showcasing their wonderful musical talents.

Charity Events

This half term is always one that holds Charity and Community at its heart. I would like to thank all of the Year 8 students and their families for their involvement in our festive charity drives.

Each year at North Leamington School we support the annual Christmas Jumper Day in aid of Save the Children and also Christmas Hamper Collections.

This year has been a great success and I know from being in and out of tutor groups just how much effort and care has been shown by all of Year 8. Tutor groups have put a great deal of thought into selecting people and places in the community most in need, which is a real testament to the empathy of the cohort.

Tutor Time Curriculum

This term’s Tutor Time Curriculum has seen the tutor groups cover a wide range of topics. From Digital Literacy, to Anti Bullying Week, to Careers sessions: we believe that our Tutor Time Curriculum greatly enhances the provision that we have in school and contributes to fostering and developing your child into well-rounded, knowledgeable members of society.

With this half term’s publishing of Data 1 students were also supported by their Form Tutors to reflect on their progress and achievements, and set targets to work on going forwards. This is our Student Self Reflection Review, and it forms a valuable part of teaching the students to be reflective about their performance in school.
Year 8 were also given the opportunity to be presented to by a group of International Leaders that we have in school, including one of our very own Year 8s! This was our Fair Trade Assembly, run exclusively by student leaders. It must have taken a great deal of confidence to deliver an Assembly to 240 Year 8s, and they did fabulously. The student leaders were expert at engaging Year 8 to answer their questions and get involved. There were certainly plenty of volunteers for the chocolate tasting! Once again, well done to Year 8 on their engagement in Tutor Time.

Year 7 have embraced the opportunities presented to them, and we are incredibly proud of their efforts.

We are delighted that provisional data available to us suggests that, where we were the highest performing Sixth Form of any and every post-16 provider in Warwickshire last year (and in the top 3% nationally), we are likely to be performing in similar territory for 2025. More to follow on this…

This ongoing success is testimony to the culture of our terrific Sixth Form and a reflection of the on-going collaboration between staff, students and parents.

Our existing Sixth Form cohort has proven to be a terrific one and we are sure that they will be likewise very successful in their endeavours. We are more popular than ever and believe this is due to the fantastic academic outcomes but also the wider support and experience we offer – which is what this Parent Bulletin looks to illustrate and celebrate. What is so important is that all of your children’s achievements are done so in the wider context of their being safe, happy and confident young adults who so clearly care for their wider community.

It has been another superb term in the NLS Sixth Form – with many events illustrating why it is such a privilege to work with your terrific children. Read on…

Future Pathways Launch

Wednesday June 18, saw a terrific Future Pathways Launch Event for our current Year 12. This tied in neatly with the Work Experience opportunities as, as suggested below, quality work experience is so central to applications for university, employment, apprenticeships.

The purpose of this event was to equip students with better understanding as to what is available to them post-18. This can be crucial in terms of information, advice and guidance (I.A.G.) but also in terms of raising aspirations and incentivising. While the launch is steered towards UCAS and university applications (because that is what the vast majority of our students choose to go on to do), we recognise that this route is not the only Future Pathway. So, we offer I.A.G. on:

University and UCAS

Apprenticeships and Degree Apprenticeships

Employment – including the uniformed and armed services

Gap years

There is also attention paid to specific applications. For example, to high demand organisations (Oxbridge) or subjects (e.g. medicine, dentistry, veterinary science) as well as those which are more niche (conservatoires) or popular (law) – nearly all of these have an early entry deadline of October and most of them will require additional entrance examinations or processes which students and parents need to be aware of and to take a lead on researching and organising.

This current year with Year 13, we have students planning to go to both Oxford and Cambridge (which is terrific) but we are delighted that a range of universities are represented as well as a range of alternatives - including prestigious apprenticeships and degree apprenticeships.

We know Year 12 will be likewise successful with their planning (like their Year 13 peers) and are sure they will make the most of all this IAG as they enter what is a very exciting time considering future pathways!

This year has been extraordinary—filled with challenge, growth, and truly remarkable achievements.
Celebration Evening

It was a real pleasure to see so many of our Year 11 students and their families at the recent Celebration Evening. The event was a wonderful opportunity to recognise and honour students for their outstanding contributions and who have gone above and beyond in a range of areas, including academic and personal progress, as well as sporting success. The pride and support in the room were palpable, and it was a fitting way to reflect on the dedication, talent, and perseverance that have defined this year group.

Celebration Day

To mark the end of their time at NLS, our Year 11 students enjoyed a memorable Celebration Day, which included the traditional shirt signing, leavers’ assembly, and the much-anticipated Prom.

Throughout the day, students shared messages and well-wishes on each other’s shirts—a fun and meaningful tradition that captured the spirit and friendships of their school journey. They also received their leavers’ hoodies and Yearbooks, both of which serve as treasured keepsakes filled with memories, laughter, and a strong sense of community.

The leavers’ assembly was a touching occasion, celebrating everything our students have accomplished over the past five years.

A particular highlight were two special musical performances by some of our talented students —made even more memorable by a surprise guest appearance from Mr Royle, much to the delight of students and staff alike.

It was a heartfelt and entertaining tribute to the strong sense of community we have built together.

Later that evening, the Year 11 Prom truly stole the show. It was a magical celebration of friendship, achievement, and resilience. Seeing our students dressed to impress, enjoying themselves, and dancing together was a joy. The Prom was not only a well-deserved reward for their hard work but also a powerful reminder of the connections they’ve made—connections that we hope will last long into the future.

What a fantastic academic year it has been for our Year 9 students! From academic progress and enrichment opportunities to incredible performances on stage and sports fields, this year has been packed with success, growth, and memorable moments. Our students have continued to impress us with their maturity, enthusiasm, and resilience – they are a credit to you and to North Leamington School.

Tutor Time Curriculum

Throughout the year, students have taken part in a rich and thought-provoking PSHE curriculum during tutor time. This term, we explored important topics including bullying, mental health, and body confidence. Themes such as the impact of social media, unrealistic body images, self-acceptance, dealing with grief and loss, healthy lifestyles, drug and alcohol awareness, and cancer prevention were all addressed sensitively. We are incredibly proud of how maturely and thoughtfully students approached these discussions.

Sporting Success

It’s been a successful term in sport. Our Year 9 and 10 boys’ and girls’ athletics teams represented NLS with pride at the District Athletics Competition in Leamington, competing against 10 other schools – an outstanding effort by all involved.

In cricket, NLS welcomed teams from Campion and Myton for friendly fixtures. A dominant win over Myton, by more than 30 runs, set the tone for a competitive summer.

Celebration Evening

Our annual Celebration Evening was a highlight of the term, where we honoured the efforts, achievements, and contributions of students across the year. It was a truly special occasion, and we were especially proud of our Year 9 award winners, who represented their year group with humility and pride. You can read more about the evening and see some pictures here Celebration Evening Website.

Summer Drama Performance and Music Concert

Drama students from Years 7 to 10 dazzled us with their outstanding production of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Full of comedy, creativity, and superb acting, the performance was a true testament to the talent and hard work of our young performers – a standing ovation well deserved!

Well done to those involved in the Summer Music Concert on July 8; it was lovely to see year 9 students full of confidence in their fantastic performances.

GCSE and BTEC Option Choices

Year 9 students are excited to have received confirmation of their GCSE and BTEC option choices.

In Key Stage 4, 60% of timetabled lessons still consist of the core subjects of Maths, English, Science and RE, along with non-examined PSHE and practical PE.

Students have been taught in year halves for these subjects since year 7, but as we move into year 10 a number of students will find when they receive their timetable in September that they have changed year halves. This is linked to the logistics of the options choices. All their new option and core classes are a fantastic opportunity for students to learn to work with different groups of peers which is an important skill for beyond school.

We look forward to seeing all the students begin KS4 with enthusiasm in September. If you have any options queries please contact data@northleamington.co.uk

Rewards Event

We ended the year on a high with a brilliant Rewards Event. The 30 students who have earned high reward points through their effort, attitude, and contributions enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of fun – including bouncy castles and team games. A huge well done to all who took part!

Sports Day

Sports Day 2025 was a tremendous success, filled with energy, competition, and community spirit. The morning featured team events like football and dodgeball, while the afternoon saw individual athletics and the eagerly anticipated inter-college tug-of-war! Congratulations to all our participants – it truly was a day to remember.

Mini Model United Nations

On Wednesday 16 July, all Year 9 students took part in our Mini Model United Nations day. Off-timetable for the full day, they became delegates, negotiators, and world leaders – engaging in discussions, debates, and diplomacy. It was a wonderful learning experience that developed key skills in communication and global awareness. The maturity and passion shown by our students was exceptional.

Duke of Edinburgh – Bronze Expedition

A huge congratulations to our intrepid Year 9 students who completed their first Bronze Duke of Edinburgh expedition this term. Taking on the challenge with energy and enthusiasm, they navigated their way through the stunning Cotswolds countryside. While a few adventurous explorers may have taken the scenic route and clocked up a few extra miles, spirits remained high throughout. The resilience, teamwork, and determination shown by all students was truly impressive. By Monday morning, the stories were being shared with such joy and laughter – a clear sign of just how memorable the experience was. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff who supported and accompanied the group – your guidance and encouragement made it all possible.

It has been a year of significant growth academically, socially, and personally, and we are incredibly proud of the progress they have made.

Throughout the year, we have placed a strong emphasis on building resilience, responsibility, and respect, qualities we believe are fundamental for lifelong success. It has been a pleasure to see our Year 8 students grow in confidence, take greater ownership of their learning, and support one another with increasing maturity. Many have stepped into leadership roles, and actively contributed to our school community.

This year has seen continued academic growth across all subject areas. Teachers have been impressed by students’ engagement in class, their curiosity, and their willingness to take on new challenges. Whether exploring complex science experiments, developing persuasive writing in English, or solving advanced maths problems, Year 8 students have consistently shown a commitment to doing their best. A number of students have been recognised through awards for outstanding effort and attainment, and we congratulate them all for their dedication.

As students move into Year 9, they will begin the important process of considering their option choices for GCSE study. While this may feel daunting, we are committed to guiding them through each step, ensuring they are well-informed and confident in their decisions. Over the coming year, we will provide to help students begin to explore where their interests and strengths may take them.

All of this was manifest in the generally excellent approach seen to the Mock Exams. We are sure those very many students (a record number!) who have applied to join us in September 2025 will keep these high standards up and they can look forward to the pre-Easter Interview process - where we very much look forward to meeting with them.

The Oxford and Cambridge interview successes of two of our excellent Year 13 students will stand out for some but hopefully the below will give an indication of the rich, diverse and highly successful Sixth Form we have here at NLS.

As we continue through the academic year for our Year 11 students, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the progress Year 11 students are making. Students have shown a remarkable level of maturity and dedication towards their studies, particularly during the last round of mock exams completed during the past two weeks. Also, the results from December’s mocks have not only demonstrated the hard work they’ve been putting in but have also allowed us to assess areas of strength and focus on where further improvements can be made as we approach the final stretch of the academic year. In a bid to provide a more realistic experience for our students, we held a Mock Results Day—designed to mimic the official results day in August. This was an important exercise, as it gave students a taste of the emotional journey they will go through later this year. Students handled it with impressive maturity and resilience, which I believe will stand them in good stead as they continue their preparations for the actual exams in the summer.

As we reach the halfway point of the spring term, I am thrilled to share the incredible progress and enthusiasm that Year 10 students have shown since their return in January. The students have come back with a positive outlook and a renewed drive to succeed in every area of school life. It has been truly heartening to witness their commitment and motivation.

One of the highlights of this term has been seeing how well the students completed their second mock RE exam this week. Mock exams give students valuable preparation for their GCSEs. The preparation has been exceptional, and the students showed a remarkable level of readiness. The revision resources provided were highly praised, and we were delighted to see such a strong turnout for the intervention sessions both before and after school. In fact, the attendance was the highest we’ve ever seen – a testament to the dedication and hard work of our Year 10s.

To support them during their revision, we organised a special final session with a slice of pizza for each student who attended. The turnout was fantastic and it was such a positive experience. A pizza treat was a great way to show our appreciation and reward them for their efforts.

This sense of dedication truly reflects our CORE ethos: Commitment, Opportunities, Respect, and Excellence. Our Year 10s are living and breathing these values every day, and it’s a privilege to see them grow and thrive as a year group.

What a truly outstanding group of students Year 10 is! I look forward to the rest of the term and all that they will continue to achieve.

They have engaged well with their studies and demonstrated a positive attitude throughout.

The majority of our Year 9 students demonstrate our CORE values every day. Their simple gestures go a long way in spreading happiness in NLS along with continuing to follow instructions and display a positive work ethic. I am so very proud of the students in Year 9. It is important to help them to feel happy at school as well as ensuring they have high aspirations. I have received a significant amount of positive feedback from staff and tutors that the vast majority of our Year 9s behave in a very mature and empathetic manner. I am hoping that they will continue to make the right decisions in the future and build / maintain positive friendships at school and in the community.

Year 8 continue to develop and demonstrate our CORE values and the simple gestures of saying ‘Hi Miss’ and ‘Have a good day Miss’ as students go about their day never ceases to increase the pride I feel in being their Year Lead.

Our priority remains focused on students feeling happy at school, being kind to others and supporting the development of those skills that will allow them to make the best possible progress. It is with the continued support of parents and carers that students will have the very best chance for success as they continue their journey here at NLS. It was particularly great to see so many parents and carers at the recent Year 8 subject evening, providing a fantastic opportunity to liaise with subject teachers on the progress individual students are making.

It really was lovely to be able to see so many of you in person. The feedback we have received from the surveys on Subject Evening are really encouraging, and it is wonderful to hear that 100% of those parents who answered felt that their child is happy at school. We also received some really positive comments about our transition programme and how responsive we aim to be to queries, as well as hearing how much parents, carers and students alike value the range of subjects that we have on offer. Thank you again for your attendance at the event, it continues to be a pleasure to work with you and your children.

It has been wonderful to see Year 10 demonstrating maturity, focus, and a strong determination to succeed. The effort and dedication of our students have been inspiring, and I am incredibly proud of what they have achieved so far.

A particular highlight has been the completion of their first RE mock exam. Students worked diligently to prepare, creating incredible revision resources and attended after-school intervention sessions to ensure their success. This commitment to their studies is a testament to their ambition and drive, and I am confident these efforts will lead to excellent outcomes.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to all the parents and carers who joined our online RE support session.
It has been an excellent term once more here at NLS Sixth Form. We are delighted to confirm that the data collaboration available to us demonstrates that standards here remain very high: we were the highest performing non-selective state school in Warwickshire for the second year running with an average B grade and hugely successful next step destinations for our outgoing Year 13.

Our existing Sixth Form cohort is a terrific one and we are confident that they will be likewise very successful in their endeavours. We are more popular than ever and believe this is down not only to the fantastic academic outcomes but also the wider support and experience we offer – which is what this Parent Bulletin update looks to illustrate and celebrate. What is so pleasing is that all of your children’s achievements are done so in the wider context of their being safe, happy and confident young adults who so clearly care for their wider community.

They are a credit to themselves, the school and you, their parents and carers.
